blah.... halloween costume sewing has been completely halted by the internets. the bodice i had ordered last friday night from buycostumes.com sold out. so now i have to completely rethink what the hell i'm going to be. i don't wanna bitch out and just buy some POS costume from a store. i might just have to go with the ol' pirate standby. heh its always easy to be a pirate. i had bought a kids size zombie costume from pricebusters a little while back for the exposed bone bits it had, so i may just reinstate my initial zombie idea.

my digital art class has been kicking my ass. the projects are so time (life?) consuming. but i'm learning a lot about photoshop and other adobe programs. last week i learned how to make a simple black and white vector image... which i really want to take to a new level for my next project... the ever-present "self portrait" art project that you get in pretty much every art class.
if it turns out anywhere near good, i'll probably have it as a new profile pic. yay
