The 2 H'es...heat and humidity...an outdoor sauna and steambath all rolled into one....how convienient mother nature is for us....unless you're like me and not really into heat and humidity. 
I've been very creative at finding ways to stay in the A/C. Normal stuff that needs to be done, can usually be rationally put off pretty easily with just a little creative thinking......mostly I've been thinking...

Pork roast with onions, carrots and potatos, salad, cantalope and sliced strawberries over ice cream for dinner.
Lazy nap all afternoon.
Hot buttered popcorn, icy cold Pepsi at 7pm and some quality TV time in the big leather chair.
Bedtime around 11pm.

For all his peculiarites, he really was a nice old guy and I enjoyed talking to him.
that is wonderful. i love it when that happens, because alot of people who start random public conversations are actually not that fun to talk to. but once in awhile you get a good bean.
on the karate topic, i have missed two lessons, which means i haven't been for over a week. the tummy sickness last night made it quite prohibitive. i look forward to tomorrow night's session, and after that i should make it a goal to attend five sessions in a row. then i wouldn't feel like such a slacker!
My weekend was busy and tiring, but oh some much fun.
A weeny roast topped off Saturday night. It was a comfortable evening and cookin' your own hotdog over open hot coals is always fun. Baked beans, chips, cool drinks and a hard rock to finish off with....Mmmmmmmm!

Yesterday and today are just about perfect summer days here....so not normal and different than the last 2 weeks. Windows wide open and cool air circulating....gotta love it!
i KNOW! it's been the same here! after all that rain on tuesday, the past two days have been gorgeous in kansas!
also, i have some produce pictures to add to your corn ones. i talked to the receptionist and turns out i didn't even have to ask for more tomatoes. she had them at the ready!

ya they were shot in color,then she sucked the color out and just put in the pink tones! to the whole set. shes so great!!!
