It's a Monday morning and I feel a fit of randomness coming....so here are a few random things that seem to be eminating from my brain this morning.
Greatest inventions...in no particular order.
Refrigerator ice makers.....Not having to refill the little cube trays is a godsend. I always seemed to spill them all over the floor and in the freezer. Combine the ice maker with gettting the ice through the door and cold water as well and your in near nirvana territory.
Cool Whip......ok, I know it's not real whipped cream...it's a "non dairy product"....but this stuff tastes better and more consistant than most real whipped cream I've ever had....plus it's in a tub in the fridge, just sitting there waiting for you...how much more could you ask?
PIllsbury's Grands Biscuits.....why would you ever go to the trouble to make biscuits from scratch, when these are so good and so convienent? Preheat the oven, open the can, put them on a sheet, bake them for 14 minutes and that's it! Split them in 1/2 and slather them with butter and honey or put them on a plate and top them with your favorite sausage gravy!
TV remote control....I don't even need to explain this one.
Air conditioning....I don't need to explain this one either!
Contact lenes.....these little plastic discs have kept me from wearing glasses for the last 35 years.
Cordless power drill........you can drill a hole anywhere with one of these.
Coffee...no explanation needed
Digital camera.....take a picture...don't like it?....DELETE....don't pay to have it processed or lose a frame on your roll of film.
Satellite TV.....more channels of crap than you could ever possibly watch....once in a while, something good is even on.
GoreTex.....a fabric that lets body moisture pass through it, but keeps water out. Keeps you warm and dry when your outdoors in the winter.
Deodorant.....self explanatory
Thorlo socks....the best socks made....period....your feet feel like they are surronded by fluffy clouds. Plus, the over the calf kind, actually stay up over your calf.
Hoppe's #9 Nitro Powder Solvent.....this stuff will cut through gun powder residue and clean your gun like nothing else.

Its refreshing to see someone on here that isn't into industrial techno-babble or hyper punk(whatever the hell that is) - not that there's anything wrong with that. Its just that, I look at some of these young girls profiles and I've never heard of any of these bands. Well, just thought I'd put my 2 cents in. Peace, bro.
