My weekend was busy and tiring, but oh some much fun.
A weeny roast topped off Saturday night. It was a comfortable evening and cookin' your own hotdog over open hot coals is always fun. Baked beans, chips, cool drinks and a hard rock to finish off with....Mmmmmmmm!
A few sprinkles on Sunday morning didn't bode well for the car show, that a group that I belong to was sponsoring and putting on as a fund raiser. But, it only turned out to be sprinkles and it went off well and without a hitch. Some heavier rain north of us, kept some cars from coming, so we didn't have quite as big of a show as we had hoped for. Still, it all worked out flawlessly, with lots of good compliments from the entrants. We had a lot of new entries this year, so the trophies were going to some new cars and faces. I was tired last evening, by the time we got it all wrapped up, things picked up and put away....but it was a good tired from a job well done!
I have most of my household Monday chores done for the day....laundry, vacuming, etc. Most not all. Mondays have always been my day to get the domestic type stuff done, since a few years ago when Monday was my only day off....the tradition continues.

Did you hear about the plane crash at the Toronto airport this afternoon? I was driving on the highway beside when it happened. It was so scary.
