The full moon came up so slow and lazily last night....it had a yellow/orange color that reminded me of a fall full moon.....I think it was the humdity and dust in the atmosphere that gave it it's color. By midnight, it was riding high in the sky and had finally turned it's brilliant white. The locusts finally quieted down, but I could hear the night creatures stirring, as I sat out on the porch before bed. A hoot owl in a tree behind the house gave it's call on a regular basis....letting eveyone know that he was there and watching. A few coyotes yipped for a time, but then went silent as they set off for their night hunt. The lightening bugs danced on the air...all the while giving off brilliant flashes from their bodies...signaling to one another. Not a breeze was stirring...the night felt thick and hung heavily on anything it touched.

Thats a cool thing about you, that you'd actually recognise the species, maybe its a little strange its a male one but they have the most striking feathers, even though the females are still beautiful I dont think ti would have the same effect. Someone else was saying to me that there are going to be amazing skys and sunsets and things this week because of some astronomical phenomena, maybe the different moon is something to with that.
