Practically every day, I think of something that would be great to post here....practically every morning when I update, I can't remember what I thought was so great to post about, from the day before.......I think my brain must reboot overnight, losing everything stored in memory. frown

I was able to get out on the bike for a couple of hours yesterday....it was good to get on and just go somewhere. It was hot enough yesterday, that the old helmet hair syndrome was in full effect. Helmets don't have very good venting and sweaty plastered helmet hair is the result. Luckily, I'm pretty naturally goofy looking, so the hair thing doesn't make that much difference.

Thank God for A/C....especially at night. I wouldn't sleep a wink on some of these hot, muggy, humid nights we've been having. There is nothing worse than dripping and sticking to the sheets all night long. I have everything that is important to be done outside, all done for a few days, so I think I'll try to stay inside where it's cool today. Unless I get a good excuse to get out on my scoot again!

After this past weekend's musical jam fest that I particpated in, I've been listening to the music of my youth the last 3 days. Funny how certain things can bring up long lost memories of people, places and events. I have distinct memories that are connected to certain songs. Growing up in a very small, rural midwestern town had it's disadvantages, but it certainly had it's ADvantages as well. I don't regret the environment of my youth for a moment.....it was filled with great people, great adventures and great values.

I do that, too! I plan out the journal in my head, and then it comes out as, "I have a headache today. Do you?"

Hello, by the way. I'm Kiki. I read your comments in Sophie's journal.
