Rode out to Omaha to see an old friend of mine on Saturday and Sunday. Seems I caused a bit of a stir. She is dating someone new and she tells me that he got a little bent out of shape, when he found out I was staying over night with her, even though we are just great friends and I stayed in her spare room. I don't understand jealousy and mistrust like that. I get the feeling she told him to get over it, or to take a hike. Anyway, we had a great time and the ride over and back was just perfect. It was a nice, relaxing time and the perfect get away from home for a few hours for me. I had a huge Santa Fe omelette for brunch, that was done just to perfection, homemade hash browns and thick wheat toast with loads of honey butter. I was stuffed!

Tonight I'm going to settle in and have popcorn, whilst relaxing in my huge leather chair in front of the TV. Oh yes and a nice ice cold Pepsi Cola to go along with my hot buttered popcorn. I'm special and I deserve it!

And.......Honeysuckle and Knockout shrub roses blooming.....the honeysuckle smells incredible!
