Yesterday was 7 hour road tirp, with a 5 hour Dr.'s appointment in the middle of it.
I took my Mom to Iowa City, to the University of Iowa's orthopeadic clinic, to see if they could do anything to fix her spine. Unfortunatly, her vertebrae and to far gone, with to many compression fractures, osteoporosis and loss of bone density, for them to be able to do anything to help her. So for now, she will just have to live with the pain and the compression fractures. We were really hoping that something could be done.
It has been so freakin' nice this week....I sometimes wish I could live somewhere where the weather is like this year round. It is just pretty darn close to perfect.
Gotta spend the rest of the day getting a few things done around here.....mostly outdoors....YAY!
