High pressure.....ya gotta love it!
Bright deep blue skies, with clouds that look more like wisps of smoke than clouds...mid 70's temps...a light breeze...this is what late spring is supposed to be like....now THAT'S what I'm talking about!
This afternoon is my weekky 4 hour sojourn into the world of lawn mowers and the smell of newly mown grass. If I don't get it today, it will have to wait until next week....so today it is!
A few random things....
This reality TV thing is completely out of control. Now, Paris Hilton's mother will be having a reality contest show of some sort....I mean, come on! I hereby refuse to ever even think of watching a reality TV show again, no matter what it is!
I never seem to have my camera with me when I need it. I could have had a couple of great pics of young hereford calves this morning, but my camera was at home, instead of beside me in the pickup. The young calves were romping and playing with each other in the morning sun....if you've never seen this, it is a sight to behold and naturally, I missed getting a couple of great pics of it. I gotta get my brain tuned to grabbing my camera and taking it with me everywhere.
I've been a little nostalgic in my music tastes lately. Not sure what the impetous has been for that, but I suddenly had the urge to dig out my Yellow Brick Road album last night. It sounded as good as the first time I played it. Elton John could really rock a song back then.
