It's a dark and stormy morning....guess I should've slept in! Oh well....sometimes you wake up and you just can't sleep anymore. Anyway, the thuder is rumbling...the lightening is flashing....and the rain is coming down in buckets right now. I think it's a fast moving storm and it should be over in just a little while....until the next one rolls in later today.......SIGH!

Had a little problem with the upstairs AC yesterday, so at noon I put in a call to the AC guys, figuring that they'd be so busy that I probably wouldn't see them for 3-4 days. About 2pm they come rolling in the driveway to fix things up. As I walked up to them, I jokingly said, " I didn't expect to see you guys for a few days!" He looked at me and replied in all seriousness, "Good customers who pay their bills on time get first priority!" Soooo....YAY for being a good customer who pays his bills on time! Finally it paid off!

Took a nice bike ride down to my brother's place last night. Coming home around 8:45pm, the sun was just setting and it was an incredible, hazy orange ball of fire, that seemed to hang just above the horizon for longer than normal. Made me wish I'd had my camera along and could have stopped to take a photo. One of those great opportunities missed.
