Warm and humid.....finally something to make the corn grow!!

Washed up my bike last night, from the South Dakota trip. I was surprised at how few bug splatters I had. I guess it was still cool enough up there, that the bugs weren't out in full force yet. It was good to get it all clean and shiney again. After all, whats the use of having chrome, if it can't shine?

More rain is forecast for tomorrow, so I'm going to get a jump on the yard mowing by getting it done today. Gotta keep ahead of it or I'll be out raking up the long grass! So, I'll have about 4 hours of tractor ride time today. I have my headphones and I either listen to the radio and sing along or just sing along to myself. My family has mentioned how screwy I look riding the mower and singing at the top of my lungs.....but I don't care. smile

Turned on the AC this morning to keep the house comfortable from the high humidity.....I have a hard time sleeping when I'm stuck to the sheets....at least when I'm stuck to the sheets from humidity and not some other activity...hehehe... blush

Happy Tuesday!

we've been stuck to the sheets at my house too. so uncomfortable! and the AC is broken. the landlord's supposed to have someone out to fix it. meanwhile i'm losing pound by pound of my body weight in sweat.

i still love my house, my life, my bed, and lawrence. it's the best ever. even sweaty.

good flower choices. yay for hardy! yay for healthy, wild and free!

Hi Sabre!
I know what you mean about the A/C. Schlorff and I wouldn't make it here without it. So wierd to take a shower, then step outside, and immediately start sweating.

I will laugh today when I think of you on your tractor. I always loved riding the tractor out at the RV park that we owned. it was from the 40's, and was so vintage, you know and so fun to bump around on.

Much love,
Rose
