Still feeling a little giddy from my recent motorcycle trip. Mostly because yesterday and today were cool and rainy, so I didn't get working outside and get my mind on other things I guess. Funny how you review things over and over in your mind. Going through my photos didn't help that any....with each one I was remembering what we were doing at the moment. The only way the trip could have been any better, would have been with better weather. Had it been sunny, warm, no wind and no rain the whole time, it might have been in the "perfect" category. As is, it made the "great" category and will be well remembered by all who took part. I find myself wishing that my lifestyle and situation was at a point where I could just take off on more trips like that each year. There's so much to see and do in this great big country of ours. It would be nice to be able to take off, with no set deadline for a return, when everyone had to be back to work. Maybe someday I'll get to that point.
I was really proud of my bike on the trip. She hummed along like a well oiled machine and never skipped a beat. Not that I expected it to or anything...it's just one of those things that you think about when out on a trip, miles and miles from home. Honda has pretty much perfected these big V twins, like the 1800cc V Twin that I ride. The 3 guys that rode the Harleys, had a few small issues along the way that had to be addressed, while my brother and I on our Honda's only had to put gas in them to make them go. It gives you a great sense of freedom and comfort to have such confidence in your machine.....especially when it's the only way you're going to get from one point to another.
I need another refill on my coffee this morning....have a great Wednesday June 1st 2005!!

I am so tempted to do lobster tails in the tequila lime butter and jalpino marinade. also affraid it will make them too tough. i suppose you don't get really good seafood where your at, we don't get all that much here either. the posiblilities are endless with a good Hot BBQ
