It would be hard to describe all the things that have gone on, in the last couple of days.....so I won't try. Everything is back to normal now and I can get some sleep again....Yay for normal and normal sleep!
My brother and I have started planning our first motorcycle trip of the year. We will be riding to South Dakota and the Mt. Rushmore area at the end of this month. I think at least 4 other guys will be going with us, so it should be a good group. We had this trip planned at the same time last year, but the weather in S. D. was cold, windy and rainy so we didn't go. It's one thing to be out riding and get caught in some rain or wind....it's completely different to start out on a trip where you know that's what it's going to be like for the next 5 days. This year, we have alternate plans made, in case going north is out of the question because of weather.....we will just go south instead!
We might finally get some rain tonight....we missed all the moisture over last weekend. We could use a good rain right now and I'm anxious to get some on my newly planted sweetcorn to get it off to a good start. The yard is going to need mowing again in the next day or two...I really have to keep up with it or it will get way ahead of me!
I have no big plans or anything very exciting planned for this week....just the usual and normal stuff........sure wish I could scare up something new and different.
