A cloudless sky and a full moon made for an interesting night last night. I drove around the backroads last night and Friday night, until around 3:30am........things were pretty quiet, except for all the nocturnal animals that were out scurrying around. It's always amazed me how they can navigate and function in such darkness...I'm a little envious of their night vision.
The temps took a fall the last 2 nights, with a good covering of frost as a result. It was in the low 30's this morning. The high 70's of the last couple of weeks is gone for awhile...or so the forecasters tell us. I was really getting used to and really getting into the warm weather....only to have it slip away again. Will the madness never end? Oh yeah....and it can stop raining for awhile now too...we've got enough!

i guess.
maybe.
i loved the full moon this past weekend. so inspiring.
i haven't had too many nocturnal animal experiences of late, but i have been inundated with bugs! at first it was just a wolf spider, but then he disappeared, so now i have a PLETHORA of ants, crickets, inchworms, moths, what i believed to be a baby june bug, and a few other little flying things.
wolf spider, how i miss thee. let me count the ways!
