The last couple of days of last week and this weekend really wiped me out. Traveling to and from a funeral...the funeral itself...and the aftermath of it, all combined to sap a great deal of energy. There is quite a whole story behind the ordeal, but I don't feel like going into the whole thing here, right now. Let's just say that the whole of the last few days have been difficult around here and let it go at that.

On to other things...

The yard is ready to be mowed. I still have a few branches to get picked up...I've fallen a little behind in my yard work the last few days. I'm ready to fertilize and till my sweetcorn patch one last time before planting...which I plan to do later this week...if the forecasted rain will allow it. By getting it in early, I just might be eating corn by the 4th of July....I've done it before.

Sleeping with the windows open at night, has to be one of life's greatest pleasures.....just wish I had someone to share my bed with. Oh well....

Lots of stuff to get done today...all the normal Monday stuff, plus all the other things that didn't get done last week. Things I'd like to get done before the rain comes, but probably won't. They won't get done with me sitting here at the computer, so I'm cutting this short and getting started right now...
