Big smiles here today.....the weather is fine and the livin' is high and easy! 
Well....sort of.....at least that's the mood I'm in today!
Finally!
It's so nice to see a bit of color in the world again.....the browness of the winter dead was really getting old....
This started out it's life, as a wild bird food feeder. Once, while it was empty, purple house finch decided it was an idea spot to nest in. So ever since, it's become a nesting box. I clean it out every spring to make it ready for any thing that might find it attractive to raise their young ones in....it usually gets used more than once. It's getting a bit rought and weathered....but I like the look of it that way. It used to say, "General Store" across the top, but it's nearly gone now. It kind of reminds me of an old store in a ghost town....long forgotten for all but the birds who nest there.
