Friday.....
Brilliant sunshine this morning, bodes well for the day.
Still not much going on with me, so the excitment factor continues to ebb at a low level. I spend my days thinking of warm weather and the hint of renewed life that spring seems to bring to most living things. Winter's deep, cold slumber is waning and dormant, hibernating life is now in twilight sleep, almost ready to be awakened to a new year of growth and renewal.
Just a few more days....if I can just hang on....it sometimes seem so close that I can almost reach out and grab it. I've been teased, only to be thrown back into the harsh reality that winter's icy grip can still close around us at it's will. The earth lies still....frozen in a state of rest and regeneration. Each day this floating orb tilts just a little more, giving Sol the chance to flood us even closer with his warming rays of light. I must hang on.....we are on the downhill side and time is on my side.....soon.....it will be here soon....

nice bike!
I would love to be heading somewhere warmer.. but alas, i'm firmly rooted in the lovely snow of Canada.
How have you been? It has been forever, it feels like. I will have to go back and read your journals to catch up.
Many hugs,
Rose
