Thank you....to all who came here and left birthday wishes and greetings for me yesterday!
I'm very grateful and very proud to be able to say that you're my friends.
It was a fun day. I received cards in the mail, e-cards and of course nice Bday wishes here in my journal. My 12 year old great niece, didn't think it was right that I wasn't going to have a cake or anything, so she brought cake and ice cream to my house for a mini party, about 5:30 yesterday afternoon. It was a great surprise to say the least! She loves her Uncle Dave and we do lots of things together, since she doesn't have a Dad.
The wind is going to blow from the south here today....they are forecasting 30mph, with gusts even higher. It is supposed to get into the high 70's and the mercury is already at 64, so other than the wind, it should be a great day to be out and about.
I know that I dreamed last night, but I can't remember what they were about.....I can almost grasp a few mental images of them, but then they fade and slip away. I hate it when that happens. I'd either like to remember them completely or not have any memory of them at all. It's especially frustrating when I have the slight notion that they were really nice dreams of one fashion or another. The occasional sex dream slips into my nights and sometimes I can remember them.....or at least bits and pieces of them.....kinda like my own personal Cinemax at Night I guess....
