My sinus problems continue....but seem to be improving a little. At least now I can breathe out of one side of my nose most of the time. I think once spring is here and I can get outside more, this will all clear up. I'm still convinced that it's some kind of house dust allergy that has me all stuffed up.
Cold and windy here again today....although the temps have warmed up a bit from a couple of days ago. Sunshine is beaming down....which is always a good thing. I sat in my big chair last night, reading a landscaping magazine and dreaming of warm weather and projects I'd like to do. It just can't get here soon enough for me.
Country style pork ribs were on the menu for Sunday dinner yesterday....along with a baked potato and nice lettuce salad smothered in Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. I spent the afternoon watching the Daytona 500.....I missed a couple of laps when I nodded off into snoozeland....but saw most of it and the important stuff...like the beginning and the ending. A full tummy, a warm fire in the fireplace and my big leather chair were just to powerful to keep me awake to see the whole thing.
Doing the normal Monday stuff today...laundry, house cleaning etc. I got used to doing it on Mondays when I worked in the city, as Monday was always my day off....just seems natural to do it that way now.
I have a couple of new projects in mind, down in my shop. But they are going to have to wait until it warms up a bit. It is just too expensive to heat my huge shop to working temperature right now. Propane price is pretty high. I keep the shop temp at 40, but that's really not warm enough to be comfortable working in there for very long. So the projects will have to wait until it warms up a bit and I can run the furnace a little less to warm the shop up to 60.
Guess that's all for now....I gotta go get a Kleenex...my nose is running again!

Those water beds ar sooo comfortable. You're so lucky.
I wish you were closer to Sophie and CK so we could meet while I'm out there... We'll have to work on that for next time.
