Okey dokey....it's Wednesday....middle of the week!
Things are coming along nicely.....
It's warmed up a bit here and we've had some rain the last day or so. It melted a bunch of the snow we had on the ground....slush everywhere. Oh well. The Cardinals have been flocking to the wildbird feeder, since I refilled it. It's fun to watch them. They have been unusually bold as of late, even chasing away the bigger Bluejays. I've had some Junkos, Chickadees, and Downy Woodpeckers at my suet feeders.....fun!
I've been a bit of a bum the last few days....taking a break from the daily shaving. I do this once in a while...just as a treat to myself. I can only go so long, before I need to get rid of the growth, but it's nice while it lasts. Dragging a razor across your jugular vein the first thing in the morning, when your eyes are barely open and your brain is only firing on 3 cylinders, is just not my idea of a good time.
I still have to figure out what to get my Mom for Christmas. She wants nothing and really doesn't even need much....so she can be hard to buy for. Luckily, I still have a few days to get it figured out. The rest of my shopping is done and I'll have the calendars that I'm making wrapped up by this weekend. I'm anxious to see some family members that will be home for Christmas.
