Things are going along so swimmingly well today....I'm almost afraid something terribly bad is going to happen to counteract all the goodness that is today.
Everything is perfectly on track for tomorrow. I will make the deviled eggs this evening and stick them in the fridge. Then the only major thing left, will be to get up early tomorrow morning to make the stuffing and get the birds in the oven and put the green beans on. The mashed taters won't take long and I can wait to make them, just before dinner. Other food is coming via family that is coming to dinner, so it's all in good order as of now.
I think I'm going to splurge this afternoon and see if I can take a week day nap. Later, I have a little work to do on a tractor, but that won't take more than 15 minutes, so there is plenty of time to get a little nappy poo snuck in this afternoon.
It's a might windy again today, but the sun is shining and it's 60 degrees.......thank God for warm SW winds! If it werent for one night last week, when the therm mo meter took a drop below 10 degrees, I think I would have still had geraniums blooming, that I could have cut for the Thanksgiving table. So, at least it will be nice to be out for a bit this afternoon and enjoy the warmth.....tomorrow is supposed to be a high of only around 40. Still, no snow is forecast for us. My condolences to any of you who get the white stuff today or tomorrow.
