Here's another nice fall picture. I must confess though, that I actually took this picture last fall....it's just been way to windy the last few days, to get any pics like this. However, if the wind hadn't blown, it would have looked exactly like this again this year....so....you get idea. I screwed up trying to get the image here in the text....so you'll be seeing it at the bottom of the page.


While eating cottage cheese at dinner today, I amused myself with the thought, that as a kid I hated cottage cheese and now I love the stuff. When I was ten, you couldn't have paid me enough or bribed me to eat it. Funny how things like that turn out. Apparently taste buds can change.

Why are the remains of long dead people so interesting? I watched a TV show on mummies last night and I thought to myself..."Self, you should've been an Egyptologist or something like that." I find that stuff fascinating and for the life of me can't figure out exactly why it peaks my interest so.

While engrossed in mummies last night, I forgot to pop the popcorn that I had planned to pop. Usually Sunday nights and Wednesday nights are popcorn nights at my house, but the mummies had me spell bound I guess. So much so, that I forgot to go to the kitchen and pop the corn....so tonight's the night! Popcorn and an icy cold Pepsi Cola!

Tomorrow is grocery shopping day. I guess I'll start looking for and picking up a few things for Thanksgiving cinner. We'll all be at my house again this year. Last year I roasted 2 8lb. turkeys, instead of one giant bird...it really works out better that way. Gotta stock up on the fixin's for biscuits and cornbread to make the dressisng....and some eggs for deviled eggs.....lots and lots of deviled eggs!

Well.....this has turned out to be a jumble of random stuff.....which of course, is what life is sometimes!
