My time in Omaha on Saturday and Sunday was great. I got to smoke my twice a year cigar. Ya know, a great cigar and a glass of bourbon is really the perfect combination.
I also managed to find the ground chipolte pepper that I need for a reciepe....I'd been looking for it locally for months with no luck. Bought a few other small things too, but managed to spend less than $40....which I think shows considerable constraint on my part.
A big pan of popcorn, a fire in the fireplace, my big leather chair and a movie was last nights agenda. I watched Sin City.....very different....and I'm still trying to figure out what I think about it!
The sun came up a bright red/orange ball of fire this morning. There's an old saying:
Sun red at morning, sailors take warning....sun red at night, sailors delight.
I'm wondering what this Monday has in store....there's only 1 way to find out.....and I certainly intend to!
Oh, by the way......KiKiBH is now officially a new friend. She's in the process of getting a new Vargas girl tattoo....go take a look at it in her journal. She's one mighty brave and resolute young lady.....as well as being funny and nice as all get out.
I'm thinking, with Sophie , laceyglove and KiKiBH as friends, I'm going to be smiling alot in the future!

my dear cklarock says that Sin City has no heart, and on that basis insists i won't like it. i kinda want to see it just for the hot girls, but really, two hours of art is a long time to go without heart. heh.
