Okay....so the fall battle has begun to keep the bugs and the mice from migrating from the cold outside, to the warm inside of my house. It's an annual battle, that I've done pretty well at winning the last few years. Spraying for the bugs and poison and a few traps around for the mice.....it's a war I don't intend to lose.

Today is grocery day again....it happens every Friday. I think it's time to start thinking about warmer foods.....stuff that will keep you warm on cool fall days and nights.....so I need to adjust my shopping list from summertime to falltime. Chili is starting to sound good again....as are ham & beans with cornbread and beef vegetable stew.

I have plans to make a trip to Omaha this weekend. Not sure what I'll be doing, but it will be a nice change of pace.....I need a change of pace right about now. I've been in the doldrums and I need something to shake them off for a few days.
