Another Hump Day...another Hump Day dollar!
Still going easy on the water usage...the well is slowly recovering, but it might be a couple of days before I will feel comfortable going back to normal water usage. It's just one of the things you sacrifice when living out in the rural country. But, there are enough other good advantages to living out here, that more than make up for the occasional hiccup in things. Country livin' is good!
A few sprinkles are showing up. A cold front is going to move through in the next few hours and take the temp down with it. Long pants and jackets will be in order. It's the time of year when it's supposed to happen and we could still have some Indian summer every once in a while. I can remember pheasant hunting around Thanksgiving, with temperatures in the 80's. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. We'll just have to wait and see.....
The worst part is that it means putting the motorcycle away for another year. Although I never completely winterize it, just in case we have a day here and there where the temp gets up enough to go for a ride. I've ridden in every month of the year for the last 3 years, so I'm sure we'll have a day here and there through the winter that I can get it out....if only for a short ride.
Happy Hump Day

It always feels wrong this time of year, being warm. I remember last thanksgiving i had my windows open. Growing up in ND i loved the brisk weather, the fall was fall feeling.
How long have you been living there?
Have a great day
