It's actually warming up a little bit here today. After the week of cold weather that we've had, it feels a little like spring when the temps get into the low 40's.

Bleak....
That's how it feels today. Overcast, cold, windy...a hint of moisture in the air. Certainly not the kind of day that gives you much enthusiasm.
So, my challenge today is to create my own enthusiasm and upbeat mood. I think I can do it!

Hey me too on the shaving thing except my excuse is that no matter what I do, with the grain, against the grain, 2 blades, 3 blades, 4 blades and so on, I always manage to do a little bloodletting. I never actually nic myself, I'll just finish shaving and these red dots suddenly start to appear. It's been a couple of weeks or so since I last shaved, if I could grow decent sideburns, I'd probablely try growing a full beard. Most of the time I use an electric razor but, it doesn't get as close. Ah well, at least we don't have to shave our legs.

My meemaw used to make us picture calendar for gifts and i loved it. I actually just came across one in an old box. It was of my cousin and i wearing only 1 roller skate, and we are dressed like ugly drag queens. We were very young with super imaginations. If you knew me in person it wouldn't seem weird. I am trying to stay up as late as possible tonight. I have to work an inventory tomorrow from 8 pm until 3am, and i'm not looking forward to it.

It's cold here, in the upeer 20's, low 30's. That's like a spring day for you huh?! I remember when i lived in North Dakota people would complain about the temp being in the 40's (family in other states) and we'd be like "Are you guys going to the pool"?
Don't get my wrong about this time of year. I love it. I really do. A fresh tree, delicious smells all over the house, the music and decorations. I just don't like how people turn this time of year into a materialistic, scrooge stompin' holiday. It angers me how mean people can be.
But i , i will survive! Oh as long as i have sabre here!
