Thanks for the comments everybody. Gavin is doing very well. He's been a bit cranky, probably from hurting, but he's much, much, better. The other day he put him through a cracker box and said he was doing his blood test (meaning blood pressure) like they did for his surgery. I cracked up!

I work at a vet clinic, and the IV isn't AS bad as you think...it's put in while they're sedated, so they don't feel it at all, and when they remove it - they barely react

Yeah I went to see 30 Days of Night in the theater (I didn't pay for it thankfully )...I was very....underwhelmed with it...
