I took Gavin to Old Sacramento yesterday. He had so much fun. We made it to the kite store and he spent like 20 minutes picking out his kite...he just couldn't decide! Then we went on to a cool toy store where he picked out a space ray gun that makes noise and has spinning lights. It's SUPER loud and obnoxious, but he LOVES IT!!! We paid for a ride on the horse and carriage and he was in awe of all the horses. He had the biggest grin on his face after the ride when the lady let him pet the horse.
We walked around looking at shops and then had dinner in a mexican food restaurant (Gavin's choice) and had chips and salsa, nachos and quesadilla's...YUMMY...and mommy got to have a margarita...VERY YUMMY!
Next time we go we're going to ride the train and go to the train museum. We didn't have enough time this trip, so it gives us something to do another weekend, before it gets too hot.
