Sickness is still hanging on by a thread. Damn plague. 
Elsewhere, I have been keeping my vet in business lately..
treating the puppy's rash
getting the newest dropoff kitten spayed
taking one of my other cats whose ear is always a mess in today...he scratches the hell out of it until it's a blooody mess every few months. They give him a cortisone shot and antibiotics, which he will never take, and I can't force him too, because he's so skitish...then it comes back and we go back in....
This time, the vet is thinking maybe food allergy, so she's going to put him under and take samples,etc. on Thursday...maybe finally we'll figure out the poor kitties issue...
I've missed being on here lately....hopefully everybody else is doing ok...

When I had to give my cat antibiotics, she would just drool out the liquid, but with the pills, my vet gave me a little tool that looked like a cross between a hollowed out pen and a syringe, which she called a pill gun. My mom would hold the cat, and I would open her mouth and use the pill gun to drop the pill in the back of her throat. The automatic reflex is to swallow, and there was minimal fighting.
