yesterday something went terribly wrong with my lower back. i still don't know what happened. i was in a lot of pain but after a $5 visit to the urgent care place i obtained two $5 prescriptions: vicodin and flexeril (thank you, county health care). i spent the night lying around, drugged and fighting sleep, on a heating pad finishing up my book. it was my first terry prachett experience and i'm now i'm itching for more. besides 'breakfast of champions' by vonnegut, 'reaper man' by prachett is the only book that has made me laugh out loud several times. next is 'mind wide open: the neuroscience of everyday life.' i can't wait.
