thanksgiving is sort of depressing for me. my family is almost a thousand miles away so there's no way i can see them for the holiday. then that makes me think about how i only get to see them twice a year...and that makes me sad. i miss them a lot, 'specially my sister. no one else has a sense of humor exactly like mine. soon enough though. i'll be counting down the days till christmas...

also i hate turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. haha. i'm looking forward to an array of awesome desserts though.

today brought the first thorough snow of the season. everything looks so lovely. now that i don't have to trudge around in it all over campus i can actually appreciate it. i still don't like driving in it though, it takes some adjusting to every winter.

a couple of friends from alabama are going to visit me this winter so we can take hallucinogens and play in the snow. i'm glad i have something to look forward to post-xmas
