my mom just called to tell me she's getting married. and it's about time, she's been living in sin for over 15 years.

i was going to suggest las vegas but she already has her heart set on napa valley.

unrelated to any literature by kafka as a person, there's this nine issue maxi series comic that was published wildstorn this past year called "automatic kafka." i was drawn to it (ugh, accidental bad pun) b/c it was very ...unique in its approach to comic art. it was really graphic designy. which i liked a lot. it's worth checking out.

30 is the best steve. i'm actually counting the days until i'm 36. it's a solid 5+ years away, but i'm counting the days...

the older i get the happier i am. a lot of the anger and confusion of youth is falling away and seeming kind of dumb.

Mmmmm...take out food. I love the chinese takout that comes in the little boxes with the handles! Its way more fun that way. There is only one place here that does that though, pooh on small towns.

love running water. it's amazing how much we waste! 'round my parts we're on some water restrictions, and you wouldn't believe how many people are just don't get it, and leave the water running all the time.

i'm packing to go to burning man. i'm about to leave. if all goes well, i'll have a chance to nap before driving all night.

hopefully nothing will break while i'm gone.
