YES s5!!! ME TOO!
prudence:
it always disturbs me whenever i realize how dependent we've all become on computers. you don't even have to own one...they're all over, in control of every aspects of our lives. they're where we keep our money, where we buy our food, where we go when we're sick. i was one of the few people who were actually kind of hoping for a y2k breakdown. nobody remembers or is aware of what human beings did before technology! sometimes i envy the amish.

wow...i didn't mean to be such a downer! do you think you might go to tuffy's this saturday? you can always stop by for a bit before you go to B.O.T.H. my hubby will be there, toosmile

now the sun is setting. it is twilight. the outside light in each moment is darker than the moment before. i can feel the parts inside my eyeball doing what they do: expanding, like a camera aperture.

with each new quantum of darkness, i feel more compelled to stand up and flip the wall switch. but for now i will wait for night to fall,...

i believe that all the conspiracy theories are true. even if they're not, it's more fun to think they are.

So could you explain the time cube (timecube.com) to me? Whenever I try, it just makes my head hurt.
s5:
time cube:

given four points on the earth, all at 90 degree angles to each other, each point will experience a full day, from sunrise to sunset. therefore, in each 24 hour period, four days pass.

so, since there are four days in 24 hours, everything you learned in school is wrong, and therefore education is a lie and everyone is stupid.

(at least, that's what i understood from it.)

the last week has been fucking terrible.

so apparently there's a giant nerve that starts at the base of your spine, splits off in two, goes through your ass cheeks, down your legs, all the way down to your ankles.

when that nerve becomes pinched or inflamed, the result is sharp shooting pains from your back to your ankles. it hurts to walk, sit, stand,...

what a bummer-- so sorry to hear that your back is jacked. is it your sciatic nerve?
if so, i've had that same problem since high school. I've tried just about everything for it. Painkillers, Vioxx (desroys your liver), chiropractors, resting....
the one thing that has helped me the most is doing yoga. that is how I became a yoga addict, actually. I started going to try to fix my back.
there's a series of stretches you can do to move the sacrum into the right place-- which takes pressure off the sciatic nerve. I will show you, or you can come to my class with me if you want. I used to be in excrutiating pain constantly and I'm almost 100% better!
I'm off to Brazil for 2 weeks, then I'll be here. In the meantime, take it easy!

i am:

late 20s layabout. often lethargic. contradictory and frustrating. quiet, with outbursts. gentle, unyielding, and truthful.

i enjoy:

food, laying about, soft things, fighting, staying in one place, pacing, leaving, coming back, eating.

i am looking for:

this space intentionally left blank. everything is quite nice as it is, thank you very much.
a35mmlife:
what a wonderful space to be in...

i'm so glad that burlesque is back in fashion again.
lil_tuffy:
I was sad tro miss that. a lot of my friends were performing.

I just saw an amazing burlesque show at coney island a few weeks ago.

I've done a few things at the parkside and hope to do some more.
