i have just entered the state of mind where i can clearly understand death metal lyrics. every growl and snarl becomes a syllable in the service of satan.

are death and black metal the same thing? probably not.
one time i got a black metal compilation out of curiousity and all of the songs sounded (to my apparently untrained ears) like almost the same arpeggiated riff played over and over again really fast. meedley meedley meedly meee ...

but acquired tastes expand ones mind ...

i am really enjoying the layers of your current profile pic...it is compelling me to stare at it and try to see behind the objects in the foreground.

I wanted to keep hugging you both. You would make the happiest house pets. Or kids. Can I adopt you and O because you are so cute? Foster parenting?
butterfly2:
and sometimes we hope that the large tree branches happen to hit those retards that we can't stand.

Dammit *snaps fingers* I forgot about karma. DamN!

tonight at the apples in stereo show, the people in the audience looked like those little wooden bird toys with the springy necks; when you push their heads back they bob up and down slowly.

you know what sucks about being born in late december? all my closest friends are always off visiting family in wisconsin or fucktown, upstate new york, instead of staying in san francisco and hanging out with me. i just don't get it. didn't everyone just get back from seeing their family on thanksgiving? it's hard having to compete with jesus christ every year. but anyway,...

as i woke up this morning, i became aware that i had been biting down, hard, on my tongue for what could have been hours. but in my half-asleep state i couldn't stop myself. i could only take note of the sensation. the pain was centered inside one taste bud, strained to its limits. the pain response became flavor: it tasted like i was sucking...

re: the snake and the tarantula

you pegged it. you are my hero of the hour.

moving to sf is high on my list of things to do in the relatively near future. i would like to try that city.
mycophile:
You're welcome.

I've only read Sheldrake's "Dogs who Know when their Owners are Coming Home," thus far, but I went to his website (sheldrake.org) and listened to all the interviews and lectures there. He's an amazingly articulate fellow, and he makes the mainstream scientists with whom he debates sound silly and envious. We need more people like him.

excerpt from David C. Coats' book
Old Macdonalds Factory Farm:

"Isn't man an amazing animal? He kills wildlife--
birds, kangaroos, deer, all kinds of cats, dingoes--
by the millions in order to protect his domestic
animals and their feed. Then he kills domestic
animals by the billion and eats them. This in
turn kills man by the million, because eating all
those animals leads to...

A fellow Sheldrake fan, eh? Never thought I'd find one in SG-land. Pleased to make your acquaintance. Is that a morphic field or are you just happy to see me? :b
