halloween is, without a doubt, the best holiday ever invented. the streets of san francisco are mobbed with people dressed up as everything imaginable. we just got back from watching children whore it out for a sugar rush (NOTE: children are only cute when they're dressed up as dead things) in the local mommy/stroller neighborhood. highlights: pets dressed up as other animals, parking karma, the macarena, scary garages, evil mimes, hagrid.
next stop: castro street halloween party, along with hundreds of thousands of other people. will there be more men dressed as ladies or as frat boys? only time will tell.
olivia says that carrying around a magic wand is taking the edge off of her hatred of crowds. i have to admit, the ability to cast people out of existence would sometimes come in handy.
