I'd say it took at least 2-3 weeks for the scabs to come off etc but its really sensitive after that for a bit. The first week is the worst cause its tender as hell (if youve ever had a fairly large burn you know what I mean) I would definitely get another one, I'd need to find a brander who I like and trust. I got mine from the guy who practically started the whole body mod/ modern primitive movement , so Im kinda spoilt for the best lol!
