Falling out of one thing and into another:
Its just the way I do things: Inertia, ennnui and glorious self-pity I'm notoriously bad at doing things, making decisions that really have to be made - always have been. I'm a financial nightmare, friends come and go, I lose track of what the point is supposed to be, I forget to water my plants and call my brother.
So: In a spring clean type burst of energy and enthusiasm never to be repeated; a list of resolutions:
1) Call my brother and water my plants.
2) stop procrastinating so much i don't have time to do anything else. But learn how to lie in bed without feeling guilty.
3) Cook some new things, other than the same old list of things that I'm good at. I remember the first time I tasted basil, or real parmesan, how excited that made me. I want that back.
4) Read more, randomly and with an open mind.
5) Get out more.
6) Buy a new bike.I miss my old one.
7) Take a few risks with my work.
8) Stop freaking out so much.
And that, as they say, is that.
The sun's out today, and it's not so cold as it has been. There's till snow forecast, but I'm hoping this is the end of it.
