Another New Year. Hope yours was a good one 
A decade's rattling by and I can really feel it. When I was a kid I believed that if you stood in the same place for long enough, the world would move beneath your feet and you'd see things and meet people and eventually end up right back where you started. And it's taken me a while to realise that's not a way to live my life, and I'm maybe still guilty of that (whichever deadly sin it falls under. Maybe sloth) but right now it seems like the world, time, people are passing by me without me even seeing them.
And that's okay too. That's the way it happens sometimes. So much happened last year - everything got thrown up in the air and i'm still waiting for it to land. I found myself in love, back at school, even more hugely in debt. God knows what this year's going to bring, I can't even think about that (I tried yesterday and I couldn't make it off the sofa...)
As for now, I'm going to have some of the black cherry tea I got when I was down in London, some chocolate and try to figure out how to upload images from my new camera.
Any resolutions?

Doesn't it feel like that maybe sometimes it's like being on a train... where really it's not the train moving at all but the world spinning around underneath.
