Its weird how suddenly everyhting can seem to change. I say "seem" because even though I know the reality of the situation ahsn't changed since last week, maybe its sinking in a little more and I'm coming to terms with it. or maybe just dealing with it.
There's something in the Talmud which says "We do not see things as they are. We see them as we are."
And i guess that's it (times like these I wish I actually was Jewish)

so right now I'm sitting looking out at the rain on the sea, listening to Godspeed you! black emperor much too loud (because its the only way) and contemplating my weekend, which is going to be fun. i'm going shopping (need a new jumper and a shirt) and then I'm going to watch Secretary, eat lots of popcorn and then go and see Hot Water Music. I think this is going to be a good one.
and a girl I kinda like is coming up to visit in a week or two...
