Re your last journal, I was recently stranded approximately 25 miles from home with no money, ID or cell phone. Because I was foolish enough to go for a pleasure ride without taking any of the above. I then broke the crank (the thing the pedals are mounted on) on one side of my bike. I was faced with a choice of begging strangers for spare change or a long walk home.
My feet still hurt.
It gave me a new perspective on panhandlers. They are braver than I am. I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Hope things are going better by the way.

i came home today to a citation for "barking dogs". following last week's 5th degree assault and reckless driving charges, my son skipping school, my other son getting busted for (____) at school, overdrawing my account accidentally...somedays, a bullet to the head doesn't seem all that bad. except i know with my luck it would get fucked up somehow and cause another whole shitty chain of events to occur.
