weekend update:
friday i had a real rough day at work. so i headed out to the corner store to buy me some beers. my intents were to hang out on my porch and get drunk. upon walking up, i stopped in the record store because i haven't seen jill in ages. so we sat and shat the shit for awhile and made it a point to hang out soon. after running into a friend, i decided to go into the punk rock bar, because my friend krista was bartending. upon walking in i see her. yes the ex. the one who stood me up a few weeks ago. so my first words were something snotty about that. i sat down wanting to only drink about 3 beers. 3 guiness' turned into about 10. i stumbled home to drink more beers, and fall asleep on my futon for the 433234535 night in a row.
saturday was hangover day. i was so lazy. but it felt nice. saturday joe and i cooked out and hung out on the porch playing xbox.
sunday i woke up hungover again. and didnt make it to play golf with my dad and mom in the morning. but headed over in the afternoon to hang out for my dad's birthday.
sunday nght was band practice. a much needed stress relieving practice. screaming at the top of your lungs is always a good time. we ended up writing 3 more songs and are almost ready to record. and the awesome part is.. we dont have to pay for recording because we practice in a 24 track studio. fucking amazing.
today i had to have "the talk" with my employee about his actions at work. i ended up not writing him up for his 3rd violation. but did make it clear that next time he is def. gone and there is no if, ands. or but's.
tonight will probably be another chapter in the book of drinking and hanging out doing nothing. which i am perfectly fine with.
