we went and checked out the studio last night. i was pretty skeptical on it as a lot of people told me how they felt about the recordings there. i had high hopes of it. i mean shit, he's done all the catharsis records, he did earth crisis' firestorm ep, along with a million other good hardcore bands. when we got there we sat down with him. talked about the studio what he expected from us, what we expected from him etc.. so on and so forth. the one thing i liked was his attitude about everything. he was straight forward with us and just was an all around awesome guy. the one thing me and burrows like was the studio and how it was all oak wood. which makes the drums sound amazing. i think all of us are set on recording there and should be a fucking hot time.
after we checked out the studio we hit up denny's on route 14. i havent been to denny's in about 4 years. and i remember why i dont go to denny's. their food is horrid. we sat and talked a lot of stuff we needed to do and some goals we all have as a band. it was a good time. we dont spend enough time with each other outside of practice. and times like these are good.
today was a good day so far. we eneded up starting to pack a lot of shit today. sometimes i think i'm losing sanity by things i shout out loud. sometimes i really think im a weird fucking dude. none the less good times packing today.. as far as good times go while packing... if that makes sense. i need to finsih up my room tomorrow night. i started half of it today.i realized i have a lot of fucking cd's and vinyl. it's kind of sick. whats even worse is that it was all in alphabetical order. im that big of a nerd like that. we're set to move on friday. we have to get a truck and get the big shit done on friday after work. so if anyone is interested in lending us a hand that would be amazing. we'll buy beer and pizza.
today i got a package from andrea over at united edge. funniest package ever. 4 shirts and 4 cd's all wrapped into this tiny little package. worse than how i pack things. the comp they put out called "FOR YOU" is amazing and you should pick it up. www.unitededge.com
tonight i'm off to pick up my moms from the airport, then head out to dudes night out at the winking lizard.
