Thank you all for sending your well wishes for my father and for all the THANKS yesterday. I hope that everyone's dinners went well. Family time can be either really good or just the opposite. I happened to have a fabulous time. My Grannie had Warm appleCider with a little Woodford Reserve tucked in Helps all that turkey go down better! We also got to make it down to see Honchos family. Lots of driving but it all paid off with two good dinners consumed yesterday. So, how did everyone else survive?
Wednesday Matt and I finished my first tattoo machine. I have been so super stoked about this. I know that I haven't said a whole lot about it but alot has been going on. Anyway I cut my first machine out of a Chevy mainfold with a plasma cutter. All in all it took about three days to complete... including tuning it and all. Matt has done most of the assembly to show me how it's done but I did all the welding and such. I promise to post pictures soon. It runs really powerfully but it sounds beautiful!!! Now that I've gotten that under my belt ===part 2 Of the apprenticeship went underway tonight. YES!! That is right ladies and gentlemen. I have put a tattoo on myself. Two small cherry blossoms on my right thigh. That, I will have to say is THE most peculiar feeling I have ever felt. I guess that I've done alright. I guess we'll see when it all heals out in a few weeks. I'll post some of the progression picture too. Oh the Memories. I wish that I could properly comvey how excited I am.
