Something very not so fun has happened lately. Water heater stopped working........
cold showers are horrible. supposed to be fixed today. but we'll see. never really know when it comes to apartment managers.
btw - anyone ever drink skittlebrew?
take a bottle of beer, or smirnoff or whatver, and add a whole bunch of skittles candy into it? yeah its no vodka induced power drink, but it tastes pretty damn good.

And yes, I'd love to join you in Australia. I spent last summer looking for rainforest in Guatemala. It's getting really scarce. It's awful. All the bitching people do about how the US is destroying the world, and then I go there, and it sure is destroyed. But by local peasants and their slash-and-burn farming techniques. And it's a lot harder to blame some guy feeding his family than it is to blame MacDonalds. It was a really strange experience.
