So I'm pretty bummed. I was supposed to get a tattoo on Friday at NIX, but I've had too many things come up recently that I needed to pay off, so I don't have enough money for it. I'm gonna have to wait till the end of the summer now, at least. Turns out you don't make that much money as a student.

So I was hoping when my roomate came back from his semester in Europe that things would be different. But he still annoys me to no end. It's really horrible if when someone you live with enters the room you're in you're automatically in a bad mood. Not all the time but most of the time.

Oh they do, but only for specific programs, and you can usually go into PhD programs without doing a masters first, it just takes longer.
But eh, I am actually in Toronto, I just go back and forth between the UK a lot. Guess I should change my location again!

I am really excited for tomorrow.

First off I start my summer job, which I already know I love, because I did it all semester. I'm working for a physics prof at the university doing computer simulations of solar system formation. Yea, I used to be freaked out by dead bodies, that was until I started working with bodies in school and taking classes where I studied bones, and bones are quite fascinating, so I decided to go with it.

So I just joined today. Not entirely sure what to do now. Someone said join a regional group, but I don't think I have enough action on the site yet to get into the only one I found for my area. Seriously, Eastern Canada is the only group?
