Are you still in Guelph?

I'm going travelling this summer, But I'll most likely be back here in September or something. You don't happen to know what colour the summer bus stickers are do you? I've been making my own and putting them on my old student card. Fuck paying 2.75 to ride the buses in this town.

Yeah, I was kinda leaning towards Samsung (the TV we have now is a Samsung, and it's been quite good up until recently). I guess we'll see how it goes.

No, I don't think that we dealt with tensors in any of the physics classes - but it is possible that I tangled with them in a math course.

To answer your question, my job has absolutely nothing to do with my degree. I had originally hoped to use my degree as a springboard to get into teaching...but after spending a fair bit of time working with high school students, I realized that I was not the type of person who should be teaching. I am a manager/merchandise buyer for a big garden centre in the Toronto area. I worked in another department as a summer job when I was in university, and I found myself back there a few years ago. It's a much better fit for me, and I do think that the work I did in getting my degree has helped me with this job (in a tangential fashion).

Do you have any thoughts on what you'd like to do if you don't go the PhD route?

Is there any chance that you would be able to do some work at a high school? It may be of some help one way or another.

I'll be at UoG taking a two day course to get my Pesticide Vendor certificate. Very exciting, haha.
