here is my music rant that i will do on here because if i post it anywhere else people get pissed.

music is not what it used to be, im sure everyone knows that. there are bands now that are going up on stage and using auto-tune and lip syncing to their tracks. i understand britney spears does this but atleast she is dancing and putting on a show. these bands just cant sing period and are boring to watch. then i found out last night that a band we toured with a year back (that probably a decent amount of you on this site like) didnt even write half of their record. they bought half of their songs off a producer that played in a pop-punk band from atlanta. ya know kelly clarkson all those people get song writers and buy songs because she cant play all the instruments. these guys are all very capable of playing. they wrote their last record which went out on an awesome label and was a great cd. but it is just becoming more and more of a let down. then you argue the fact that people arent even singing lyrics that mean anything anymore. they are singing it to be cool and so all the young kids will buy it because they cuss or something and you know they dont mean it because they didnt even write it.

im atleast proud to say i never have/will ever fake anything in music or have someone write my music for me. music is something that allows people to express themselves and whats the point of doing it if you dont even mean what you are playing or singing about.
