Roller coaster part ii
We have a new line producer
the bond company has assigned a new rep (that's our counterpart)
we have found the missing money.
so assuming all goes well monday/tuesday (all days meetings both days) we are back in production.
So I guess I'm not out of movie business yet. I am, however, still going to start looking - both for a JOB and for a new venture of some kind. I'm burned out and frankly not having fun. I came to the realiztion:
If you are having fun and love what you do, money doesn't matter.
If you are making piles of money and hate what you are doing, you can take lots of vacation and develop hobbies.
If you hate what you do and aren't making lots of money - and you aren't incarcerated - then you are the one to blame for your lack of happiness.
Thus, I'm going to start looking at new things to do. we'll still do the movies, it just will move down my list day-to-day and I'll hire people to look after it for me.

BTW I started a new blog at vox. might need to go legit, though this will be where my heart is and I'll still post far more personal stuff here than there...

I've been trying to contact vegas members so that I'll actually have something to do in vegas, something to leave in vegas. we'll see....
ha. like I said, just use my movie as a paper weight for now. I know you're busy. don't rush.

So is the rain a good thing? For me, it usually is. I could use some of it here, to help break up my chest cold.
