Hi all
So I'm sitting in the London Heathrow airport on my way back to Bucharest. I feel like it's been a long-hard slog but that I'm close to a turn-around. I have two hard offers to finance the movies and am working on two more deals. I'll make a decision on monday. so that's a huge relief.
on the personal side of my life - (read the wife) I'd say its touch and go. we definitely have some issues, but we love each other and the children force us to be more adult about our issues. Frankly this is the most trouble we've had in 13 years, and some of the worst stress we've experienced (together) in the same period. I'm willing to accept that maybe we're simply human. However, we do need to figure out a few things and maybe go learn some better conflict resolution skills.
we also need to get out of the hotel and into a house. someplace. anyplace.
other good news, I now have a work visa - YEAH! I can move to the UK as of the 1st of December
No pretty pictures this week, i'll do an update with pictures next week. I did do lots of fun stuff in LA and should likely do an update.
ok one picture. I spent about an hour chatting up Bahar Soomekh
who is just about the most beautiful women I've ever been that close to. Seriously, she is sexy, smoking hot and super sweet. We hung out at the EMA awards where my film Who Killed the Electric Car? was nominated for an award.
I also got to hang out with
Emmanuelle Chriqui who I'm trying to convince to come to Romania. We'll see, her career is blowing up and her reps are smart. DRAT I HATE WHEN THEY KNOW BETTER...
Ok last item. Who Killed the Electric Car? is officially out on DVD. PLEASE GO BUY A COPY! seriously its the movie I've made that I'm most proud of and it's for the environment so what's not to love. Makes a great xmas gift!
