ok it's been way way too long since my last post. I'm not even sure where to begin. I'm back in Los Angeles, partially to get my UK work visa as we are finally being granted permission to move to London by her Magesties government. I'm also here for AFM - the American Film Market which is this crazy conference in Santa Monica every year where movie buyers and sellers go to buy and sell movies. The party scene is - really -where its at... went to a party thrown by CoMerica bank on the pier where they rented out the entire carnival - rides and all - on the SM pier. Also met marty kove (the bad sensai from Karate Kid) who is a lovely man. Oh yes and a gorgeous half-naked Korean viola player who strangely seems to want to become an actress and stalked me all nite at the party. Lots of people knew my documentary, Who Killed the Electric Car? which was quite flattering...

Highlights of my week were also a dinner for me, arranged by bigdaddyfix with a bunch of old-skool .com friends etc. Lots of folks from my past, it was really great. Actually fix and I have been hanging a lot this week, we even did a double SG whammy, having drinks with surlyclown and some other folks from the movie group and randomly running into a bunch of folks including rawr_ima_monster
flux and bean. the highlight for me was when Flux decided to try and snort the powdered sugar from my beignet's that had fallen on the table and that fix and I were practicing credit carding into rails.... ah memories.

so this is the week, gotta close finance. had a good Friday and things are looking up. I'm changing guest houses tomorrow.. (this friend is coming back to town and a new one is leaving.. ) getting rid of my car next week, shipping a pile of crap off to Romania... weird I feel like i'm divorcing Los Angeles....

ah well, i never liked that bitch anyways.
